Job Description

The Marketing Executive will support and execute multi-channel marketing initiatives focused on content creation, digital platforms, social media, and B2B communications. This role requires a proactive team player with excellent organisational skills, an eye for detail, and fluency in German or Swiss German, to effectively liaise with our Swiss headquarters and adapt materials for regional markets.

 

Responsibilities

General Marketing:

  • Support Marketing & E-Commerce Manager with initiatives that drive brand awareness, including day-to-day execution of marketing campaigns and promotions
  • Coordinate public relations and outreach initiatives, including media releases, awards, company announcements, and influencer programmes

 

Content Creation and Management:

  • Develop, adapt, and manage marketing content including product datasheets, webshop content, images, videos, and email newsletters
  • Work with creative and media agencies to produce high-quality visuals and other relevant content aligned with the brand identity
  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Responsible for through-the-line activities such as print advertisements, social and digital media platforms, blog updates and email marketing
  • Manage content through Canto, and share content through various channels

 

Social Media Management:

  • Plan, execute, and monitor social media campaigns across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Create engaging posts and stories, and monitor performance metrics
  • Grow and engage the online community through relevant, brand-aligned content

 

B2B Marketing Support:

  • Support the sales team with B2B marketing collaterals, including datasheets, flyers, product presentations, and point-of-sale (POS) materials
  • Coordinate marketing campaigns tailored to retailers and distributors

 

Language & Localisation:

  • Translate or review marketing materials in German, ensuring linguistic and cultural accuracy
  • Act as a bridge between Swiss HQ and local teams for content alignment and marketing strategy

 

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and German (reading, writing and speaking)
  • Min. 3 years of relevant experience in marketing (consumer goods or electronics industry preferred)
  • Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing such as SEO, social media, etc.)
  • Demonstrated success in creating and growing social media presence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint), marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite, Klaviyo, or similar), content management systems (Canto, or similar) and marketing applications (web analytics, Google Adwords, etc.)
  • Good writing and communication skills
  • Proven success in a fast-paced environment, working both individually and as a team member
  • Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
  • Established media contacts in Europe a bonus
  • Familiar with online platforms such as Shopify, Amazon and other online marketplaces a bonus
