Senior Designer (B2B Content Agency)

Who We Are

Mediashock's Purpose: Helping innovators inspire minds, drive change, and enrich lives through thoughtfully choreographed content. We're Mediashock – a team that bridges the gap between technical brilliance and human understanding. We specialize in B2B tech and engineering companies that are often considered "too complex to market." Our approach isn't about flashy creativity; it's about diving deep into our clients' industries to translate technical complexity into content that actually connects and drives results. Our work spans strategic communications, key visual design, hybrid events, and content strategies involving explainers, documentaries, and webinars across South-East Asia and the broader APAC region. We're not here to create pretty content that wins awards – we're here to create effective content that helps businesses scale.

Job Description

The Role

As our Senior Designer, you’ll develop the creative depth and technical understanding that builds toward an Art Director path. This role offers what many creative positions don’t: the chance to see your work showcased on massive screens at global technology conferences, formatted into corporate “Netflix-style” series for B2B audiences, and featured in high-stakes presentations that forge partnerships between industry leaders.

You’ll work on accounts with Fortune 500 technology and engineering companies where the stakes are high and the problems are complex. Here, your design solutions aren’t just seen—they transform dense technical whitepapers into visually navigable journeys, convert engineering specifications into compelling visual narratives, and crystallize abstract software capabilities into tangible benefits through carefully crafted imagery that earns trust and wins deals in competitive markets.

Key Responsibilities

Architect visual systems where technical complexity becomes intuitive – turning intricate API calls and connectivity into clear information flows that engineering and business audiences both grasp immediately

Develop Key Visuals where precise diagrams and powerful imagery converge – transforming technical specifications into visuals that command attention in boardrooms while still carrying the client’s brand DNA.

Collaborate with engineers and technical experts, developing the visual fluency to translate concepts like IoT architectures, semiconductor manufacturing, or enterprise software workflows into compelling visuals.

Lead projects where your visual decisions determine whether a 50-slide technical presentation feels like a compelling story or a data dump – where your information hierarchy creates the difference between engagement and confusion.

Required Qualifications

5+ years design experience with B2B clients, with proven track records in technology sectors.

Portfolio showing how you’ve made complex information both understandable and compelling.

Strong command of Adobe Creative Suite; with keen interest in design for visual motion.

Meticulous attention to detail – the kind that identifies a mismatched blue by hex code when others see “the same color”

Your Growth Path

Unlike agencies where designers hit creative ceilings, at Mediashock your analytical approach to design is valued and developed:

You’ll evolve from executing concepts to defining visual strategies that help technical innovations succeed

You’ll develop deeper expertise in specific technical domains, becoming a specialist with rare and valuable skills

You’ll build leadership capabilities through increasingly complex projects and client relationships

You’ll help shape our methodology for creating content that influences technical buying decisions

What We Offer

A clear path to Art Director for those who demonstrate both creative excellence and strategic thinking

The opportunity to see your work featured at global tech conferences, C-suite presentations, and corporate content series with viewership across entire industries

Projects that challenge you intellectually while having tangible impact on how emerging technologies are perceived and adopted

The rare opportunity to develop deep expertise in technical subjects while growing as a designer
