Freelance Jazz & Lyrical Dance Teacher – Competitive Program (Cover Role)

Job Description

We are looking for a passionate and reliable freelance dance teacher to cover jazz and lyrical classes in our competitive program.

Role Responsibilities:

• Teach jazz and lyrical classes in an open-class style format as a cover teacher
• Deliver pre-prepared choreography and combinations with a focus on technique, musicality, and performance
• Support students aged 7–17, adapting guidance for different age groups and levels
• Assist in cleaning routines and refining performance quality

Requirements:

• Strong understanding of jazz technique and lyrical foundations
• Ability to confidently teach and refine existing choreography
• Experience working with children and teenagers in a structured class environment
• Professional, reliable, and able to follow existing class plans with minimal supervision
• Only applicants with existing rights to work in Singapore will be considered

Note: This is a cover teaching role – lesson planning and choreography creation will largely be provided, allowing you to focus on teaching and performance refinement.
