Job Description
T:>Works seeks an astute, organised, and creative individual as Digital Projects and Outreach Executive, to be responsible for maintaining and evolving its legacy in Singapore and internationally through platforms such as the library T:>Digital, archive T:>Archive and other T:>Works’ websites.
With an eye on this digital-centric milieu, the Executive will assist in contextualising and situating T:>Works’ artistic legacy, processes, and discourses with the aim of activating translocal dialogues, and further T:>Works’ vision in pioneering thought leadership in the arts, and its focus on transdisciplinary, transcultural and inclusive processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Leading, Shaping & Reimagining Potentials of the Digital
- Initiate and produce digital projects, such as websites, long-form discourse, long-format audio/visual content or other type of content natively hosted in the digital realm to make accessible T:>Works’ legacy to a global audience, working with web designers and external vendors where needed
Maintaining Digital Platforms
- Maintain and make updates to digital platforms T:>Digital, T:>Archive and the company’s websites, working with web designers and external vendors where needed
- Maintain and make updates to in-house digital systems, including workplace management, donor management, customer relationship management, content management as well as ticketing and subscription systems
- Maintain, catalogue and classify T:>Works’ archival inventory for internal use
Cultivating Stakeholder Relationships From the Digital
- Maintain databases for T:>Works’ various constituents, including local and global audiences and stakeholders
- Prospect, and identify opportunities for partnerships and collaborations within T:>Works’ databases
- Work in collaboration with communications team member(s) to plan and implement a digital community engagement strategy, with clear guidelines and best practices
KEY CRITERIA
The ideal candidate is a consummate communicator, creative thinker and content producer with a passion for the arts, who thrives in a progressive artistic environment. They should meet many of the following criteria and demonstrate the willingness and capacity to learn the rest on the job:
- 1–3 years of work experience in the creative industry or related fields such as design, communications, journalism, advertising, digital marketing or public relations (preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, attention to consistency, accuracy and detail, while contributing effectively to overarching organisational strategies on archiving
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
- Strong digital literacy, with working knowledge of Google Suite and related collaborative digital tools and resources, including online databases and digital library systems.
- Strong understanding of the digital ecosystem and multichannel engagement strategies, with relevant media and community contacts an advantage
- Familiarity with digital content management systems (e.g. Dropbox, WeTransfer, Google Drive) and the content production process as well as organisational tools for document management and inventory tracking
- Strong work ethic, team-oriented mindset, and flexibility to work outside regular hours when required by the organisation’s project schedule
- Experience managing complex projects and campaigns with overlapping timelines and deliverables
- Familiarity with the arts ecosystem in Singapore, and internationally
- Design, editorial and video editing capabilities using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva or similar tools
- A bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred, particularly in fields such as Communications, Art History, English, Media Studies, Arts Management, Marketing, Design or other related disciplines in the humanities or creative industries.
