Who We Are
Job Description
Role Summary
This is a hybrid role: you are a storyteller in the edit suite and a proactive pair of hands on set. You will spend 80% of your time crafting high-retention social content and long-form series (podcasts/travel vlogs) and 20% on-set ensuring our production quality is “edit-ready.”. Type of content we do includes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nx5TnVZNqps&t, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1cVYkHhqlUQ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7SxvEpMyjVY&t
1. Post-Production Storytelling (80%)
Social-First (Short-form): Edit high-retention TikToks, Reels, and Shorts. You must stay obsessed with current platform behaviors, hooks, and native-feeling sound design.
Narrative (Long-form): Lead the edit for podcasts (e.g., The Couples Classroom) and travel vlogs. You identify the story arc and pacing without needing a frame-by-frame script.
Sound & Visual Polish: Source SFX/Music from our libraries, perform dialogue clean-up, and execute color grading to match the agency’s aesthetic.
Asset Management: Maintain a organizational system for raw assets, proxies, and project versions.
2. Production & Crew Support (20%)
On-Set Execution: Assist in the full production process, from pre-production gear prep to on-set lighting, multi-cam setup, and audio monitoring.
Equipment Maintenance: Track, organize, and maintain agency production gear. You ensure everything is charged, cleared, and ready for the next shoot.
Direct-to-Edit Thinking: Provide real-time feedback on set. If a shot is missing a “hook” or a transition, you flag it before the cameras stop rolling.
Technical Requirements
Software: Mastery of Adobe Premiere Pro. Competency in After Effects (titles/lower thirds) and Photoshop is a plus. Experience with DaVinci Resolve is a plus.
Technical Gear: Technical knowledge of mirrorless camera systems (Canon), lighting setups, and studio/field audio equipment.
Experience: 1–3 years in an agency or video production house. You should be able to work with minimal hand-holding.
