Marketing and Operations (Internship) – Art Gallery and Studio

For VAC Art Gallery & Studio – @Chinatown

Are you a Diploma / Tertiary student or graduate in Fine Art, Art Teaching, Arts Management, or Events Management?

Looking to gain real-world experience inside an active art gallery and studio?

VAC Art Gallery & Studio (by Visual Arts Centre Singapore) is inviting passionate and driven individuals to join us as a Marketing & Operations Intern.

This internship is designed for those who want practical exposure in the arts industry — from exhibitions and art education to cultural events and gallery management.

✨ What You’ll Be Involved In

🖼 Exhibition & Gallery Experience
Assist in exhibition setup and artwork handling
Support artist coordination and documentation
Help during exhibition openings and public programmes

🎨 Art Studio & Teaching Support
Assist during workshops and art classes and support art teachers during workshops
Prepare materials and studio setup
Support instructors during public and corporate art sessions

📢 Marketing & Content Creation
Create social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Xiaohongshu)
Assist with posters, EDMs, and website updates
Help promote workshops and cultural experiences

🎪 Events & Corporate Programmes
Support art jamming and team-building events
Assist in logistics coordination and on-site management

🎯 The Ideal Candidate
Diploma / Bachelor in Fine Art / Art Teaching / Arts Management / Events Management (or related fields)
Passionate about art and creative industries
Responsible, organised, and proactive
Comfortable engaging with the public
Willing to learn both creative and operational aspects of running a gallery

Bonus if you:

Have prior teaching assistant experience
Can use Canva or Adobe tools
Have photography or video editing skills
Are bilingual (English & Chinese preferred)
