About the Role
We’re looking for a Brand Communications Intern to support OMT’s own brand presence across social content, visual communications and digital touch points.
This is an junior/entry-level internship role for someone from a graphic design, visual communication, branding or content background who wants to work in a creative environment and help turn ideas, projects and company narratives into strong outward-facing brand communication.
You will work closely with the founders to help us communicate who we are, what we do, and how our work shows up in the world.
What You Will Do
- Support the development and execution of OMT’s brand and social media presence
- Conceptualise, design and package visual content for Instagram, LinkedIn and other digital channels
- Help translate projects, shoots and company milestones into outward-facing content
- Assist in the creation of impactful (sleek!) assets, preparing decks, marketing materials and branded communications
- Maintain visual consistency across all touch points
- Support copy and content development where needed
- Help organise and repurpose photo, video and design assets into usable brand content
- Contribute ideas for how OMT can communicate more clearly and consistently as a creative business
Who We Are Looking For
- Someone who lives and breathes social media and branding, with strong visual communication instincts
- Good design sensibility and layout awareness
- Ability to create clear, polished and brand-aligned content
- Interest in storytelling, branding and digital communications
- Comfortable working across both design and content support
- Organised, proactive and open to feedback
- Fresh grads are highly encouraged to apply
- Someone who is able to fill the roll for at least 4 to 6 months at the minimum
It would also be very favourable if you have any of the following:
- A diploma or degree in graphic design, visual communication, branding, communications or related fields
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Da Vinci or similar tools
- Understanding of social media formatting and digital content packaging
- Some exposure to photography, video or motion content is a plus
- Basic copywriting ability is a bonus
- Any relevant portfolio to share with us
- A good reason to want to join the industry!
This role is for someone who wants to build a career at the intersection of design, branding and content. You should enjoy shaping how a company looks, sounds and presents itself and most of all, you should be excited by the opportunity to help grow a creative business from the inside.
