– Gradually take ownership of smaller shoots (e.g. birthdays, mini sessions)

2. Client Interaction

– Assist in basic posing and direction
– Maintain a friendly, professional presence on set

3. Post-Production
– Edit photos using Lightroom (and Photoshop if needed) within deadlines
– Maintain consistency with The Onlookers’ editing style
– Organise and manage image files properly

4. Operations & Support
– Assist with equipment setup and teardown
– Ensure proper care and maintenance of gear
– Help manage file backups and digital asset organisation

5. Growth & Development
– Learn directly from senior photographers and creative leads
– Continuously improve shooting, editing, and storytelling skills
– Be open to feedback and actively work on improving craft

Requirements
– Experience & Skillset
– 0–2 years of photography experience (freelance / part-time counts)
– Strong portfolio with human subjects (required)
– Good working knowledge of: DSLR / mirrorless cameras + Adobe Lightroom (Photoshop is a bonus)

– Probation Period: 6 Months

Work Ethic & Attitude
– Responsible and dependable (especially for real-event shoots)
– Willing to learn and improve quickly
– Able to work weekends (important for weddings/events)
– Comfortable working in fast-paced environments

– Positive, proactive, and team-oriented
– Good communication skills with clients and team members
– Passion for storytelling and capturing real moments

What You’ll Gain
– Hands-on experience across a wide variety of shoots
– Mentorship from experienced photographers
– Clear progression pathway to Senior Photographer role
– Opportunity to build a strong, real-world portfolio quickly
