Job Description
We are looking for a creative and self-driven Social Media Content Creator to support our content creation work across social platforms (Instagram and Tik Tok) on a freelance basis. This role focuses on developing visually compelling content focused on brand and product storytelling. You will work closely with the founder to translate vision and ideas into engaging digital content across social platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
– Conceptualise, shoot, and produce high-quality content (Reels, TikToks, carousel posts, Stories)
– Translate our brand mood into visual storytelling
– Capture both product-focused and lifestyle content (studio + on-location)
– Edit videos and photos to align with our brand aesthetics
Content Planning & Execution
– Plan and execute a monthly content calendar
– Develop creative concepts for launches, pop-ups, and campaigns
– Suggest trending formats or ideas adapted to brand identity
Editing & Post-Production
– Edit short-form videos using CapCut (transitions, music syncing, storytelling flow)
– Design graphics, carousels, and simple layouts using Canva
– Enhance and colour-grade photos using Lightroom to maintain a cohesive feed
Social Media Management
– Draft captions aligned with our brand tone and messaging
– Schedule and publish content on Instagram (and TikTok if applicable)
– Monitor basic engagement (comments, DMs) and flag insights or opportunities
Brand Alignment
– Ensure all content reflects a premium, intentional positioning
– Maintain consistency in visual identity, tone, and storytelling
Deliverables
– You will need to be able to deliver an estimated 6–8 feed posts per month (mix of Reels + carousel/static)
– 12–15 Instagram Stories per month
– Plan our monthly content calendar and review content performance with our founder on a bi-monthly basis
Required Skillsets
– You have a strong creative and visual eye for composition, styling, and storytelling
– You have the ability to capture a soft, natural, and elevated aesthetic
– You understand the fashion/lifestyle branding and how to sell a mood besides product and are passionate about sustainable and slow fashion
Technical Skills
– Proficient in CapCut, Canva and Lightroom or other related applications
– Basic shooting skills using smartphone or camera
Social Media Knowledge
– Understanding of Instagram and Tik Tok trends, Reels performance, and audience engagement
– Ability to adapt trends into brand-relevant content (not generic or overly commercial)
Soft Skills
– You are self-motivated and able to work independently
– You have a strong sense of initiative and creative thinking
– You can communicate your ideas, thought process in a concise and clear manner and you are responsive
– You are able to meet the deliverables and deadlines consistently
Working Arrangement: The role is flexible, deliverable-based and remote with occasional on-site shoots.
