Music Games: Developing Musical Perception Skills

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented individual to help us develop compelling music games that help users improve their musical perception abilities. In this role, you will work with designers, educators, musicians, and developers to build interactive sprunki experiences that assist players improve rhythm recognition, pitch discrimination, melody identification, harmony awareness, and listening accuracy through engaging and accessible gaming.

Key tasks include creating game concepts and learning exercises that mix entertainment and music instruction, creating incremental difficulty levels, and ensuring that each challenge effectively promotes the development of auditory and cognitive skills. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve game mechanics, analyze player input, and increase user engagement while retaining instructional value.

The ideal candidate is passionate about music, game development, or educational technology, as well as a strong understanding of music theory and auditory training concepts. Experience in game design, user experience, interactive learning platforms, or digital content creation is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving abilities, inventiveness, and the ability to articulate ideas clearly are required for success in this profession.
