Who We Are

Sloth Creatives is a boutique studio in Singapore built on one belief: imperfect is true storytelling. We shoot weddings, brand films and lifestyle work, much of it on analog film (Super 8, 16mm, 35mm, 120), because it slows everyone down and pulls something honest out of the room. We're also a growing house of brands, including Still Hour, our matcha and slow living drinks brand, and Slow Frames, our analog photography and framing studio.

If you love turning great footage into content people can't scroll past, and want to design the brands behind it too, you're in the right place.

Job Description

THE ROLE

We’re looking for a designer with great taste who wants to get very good at every kind of digital media. This role sits at both ends of our process: pre production, where you design, plan and build references for campaigns, and post production, where you edit our films and shape the final deliverables. If you’re strong in design but new to video editing, we’ll teach you.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Design for our brands, from logos and identities to packaging, campaign visuals and social assets
  • Work alongside our director on campaigns: define the final deliverables, pull references, build the shoot plan, then work backwards with our production team to get there
  • Edit our wedding films, with full training if you’re new to editing
  • Assist with Same Day Edits on wedding weekends
  • Rethink how we share our content on socials, finding interesting new ways to post
  • Help build, launch and grow our brands, including Still Hour and the ventures we’re launching next

WHAT TO EXPECT

Your time will be roughly half design and half video editing, but it shifts with the season. Some weeks we hunker down in the edit, other weeks it’s all design and campaign work. You’ll need to be flexible and comfortable switching between the two.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • A strong design portfolio in branding, graphic design or similar
  • Taste you can explain: you know why something works, not just that it does
  • Fluency in design tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or Figma
  • Curiosity about film, photography and analog, and the drive to become highly skilled in editing
  • Comfort working with multimedia assets across design, photo and video
  • An instinct for social media and what makes people stop scrolling
  • Strong ownership: you move work forward without being chased, and commit to decisions once they’re made
  • Availability for weekend work (five day week, with weekdays off in lieu)

WHAT YOU GET

  • $3000 to $3500 per month, depending on experience
  • Creative ownership across weddings, campaigns and our own brands
  • Training in video editing and hands-on time with Super 8, 16mm and medium format
  • A seat at the table as we build new ventures under our brand
  • A new office and a small team that cares about the work but doesn’t take itself too seriously

HOW IT WORKS

Every new hire starts with an internship phase, with the length depending on your experience, before converting to full time. It’s our way of making sure the fit is right on both sides. The intention is never to keep you as an intern, but to find someone who will grow with us and take ownership of their own work.
