A brief history

In 2007, we founded the now-defunct Culturepush.com, a website championing creative talent in Singapore.

It soon became clear that there was a gap in the Singapore market for creative job seekers. You either waded through a bunch of generalist job sites, visited niche bulletin boards or relied on word of mouth.

We created the Culturepush Job Board to serve our readers and companies seeking talents specializing in the arts. It was small, simple and free for anyone to advertise a creative job opportunity. Built using a very basic WordPress template, it wasn’t sleek in any shape or form, but it got the job done.

In 2017, we relaunched the job board on a new platform and rebranded it Cultjobs to offer a more user-friendly experience for employers and job seekers.
