Street Dance Teacher (Freelance – Cover)
Job Description
We are seeking passionate and reliable Freelance Street Dance Teachers to join our teaching team. This role is ideal for dancers who enjoy working with children and teenagers, value structured teaching, and are committed to delivering high-quality classes within an established programme. Lesson plans and syllabus guidelines will be provided, allowing teachers to focus on strong class delivery, student engagement, and classroom culture.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver engaging and energetic street dance classes following provided lesson plans and syllabus guidelines.
- Teach with strong foundations in groove, musicality, coordination, and performance quality.
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different age groups and ability levels while maintaining lesson objectives.
- Provide clear, constructive, and encouraging feedback to support students’ confidence and progress.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by emphasising proper warm-ups, body awareness, and injury-prevention practices.
- Maintain positive classroom management and foster a respectful, inclusive, and supportive class culture.
- Prepare students for showcases, performances, or studio events when scheduled.
- Communicate professionally with the studio team regarding attendance, class progress, and any issues when required.
