Job Description
We’re looking for a Social Media & PR Intern who gets excited over a good trend, knows their way around Instagram/TikTok, and is ready to experience what agency life is really like — the fun, the fast-paced, the “can we try this idea?” moments included.
You’ll be helping the team across social media, PR, content shoots, KOL campaigns, and the very important behind-the-scenes admin that keeps everything moving.
What You’ll Be Up To
No two days are exactly the same, but you may find yourself:
- Keeping things organised — from trackers and timelines to content calendars and campaign updates
- Giving timely updates to the team, especially when working from home
- Helping out at occasional shoots, events, activations, and KOL hosting sessions
- Spotting what’s trending and thinking of ways brands can jump on it naturally
- Assisting with simple edits on Canva, CapCut, or other design tools when needed
- Supporting client comms when your manager is away or needs an extra pair of hands
- Appearing as talent in content when the idea calls for it — main character energy welcomed
- Helping with captions, decks, reports, media lists, content references, and campaign materials
- Coordinating with creators, vendors, tenants, or partners where needed
- Being the person who remembers where the file is, what’s due next, and who needs a follow-up
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need to know everything, but you should be:
- Interested in social media, PR, content, creators, and internet culture
- Organised enough to keep track of moving parts without disappearing into the group chat
- Comfortable with WFH, and responsible enough to update the team without being chased
- Familiar with current trends across TikTok, Instagram, Xiaohongshu, Lemon8, or whatever everyone is suddenly using next
- Able to write decently, think creatively, and tell when something feels “too corporate”
- Open to being on camera when needed
- Able to do basic design or video edits, even if it’s just minor tweaks
- Curious, proactive, and okay with jumping into different kinds of tasks
- Fun to work with — because yes, that matters too
You’ll Probably Like This Role If…
You’ve ever said, “This would make a good content.”
- You understand that “quick edit” is never really quick, but you’ll still try your best.
- You can switch from packing props for a shoot to updating a client deck to explaining a meme in one afternoon.
- You like social media, but also want to see what happens behind the scenes before a post goes live.
Bonus Points If You
- Know how to use Canva, CapCut, Adobe apps, or basic editing tools
- Are comfortable with TikTok-style content creation (EN & CN)
- Have a good eye for visuals and details
- Can write captions that do not sound like a corporate announcement from 2012
- Already follow too many creators “for research”
