Job Description
Primary Objective(s) of Position
· Inventory management to ensure stock holdings are kept to a minimum
· To oversee and support the team to ensure that productivity and cost efficiency targets are achieved
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile any discrepancies
- Prepare and present inventory reports to management, advising trends and process improvements
- Review non-moving inventory and make recommendations for resolution
- Ensure that the team complies with company policies and procedures
- Support and guide team members in processes when required
Person Specifications
- Diploma in Engineering or 2 years of relevant experience in the spare parts trade
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Meticulous, highly organized and a team player
- Possess good interpersonal, customer service and coordination skills
- Ability to converse coherently with customers through phone calls and emails
