Interior Designer
Who We Are
We're Apartment, a Singapore-based interior design and renovation studio that believes every home should tell a story — one that reflects the people living in it.
We're a team of creatives who love exploring ideas, experimenting with materials and turning thoughtful concepts into spaces that feel just right.
With our own in-house carpentry and tiling teams, we get to be involved in the entire creative journey — from the first sketch to the finishing touches.
And yes, we take our designs seriously. But that doesn't mean we can't have fun along the way.
Job Description
WE’RE HIRING!
Interior Designer | Join the Apartment Team
Big ideas? Creative mind? A little obsessed with beautiful spaces?
We’d love to meet you.
A Little About Us
We’re Apartment, a Singapore-based interior design and renovation studio that believes every home should tell a story — one that reflects the people living in it.
We’re a team of creatives who love exploring ideas, experimenting with materials and turning thoughtful concepts into spaces that feel just right.
With our own in-house carpentry and tiling teams, we get to be involved in the entire creative journey — from the first sketch to the finishing touches.
And yes, we take our designs seriously. But that doesn’t mean we can’t have fun along the way.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re on the lookout for creative, curious and passionate individuals to join our growing team.
Whether you’re a fresh graduate, just starting out or already have some experience under your belt, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re less concerned about how many years you’ve worked and more interested in how you think, your willingness to learn and the ideas you bring to the table.
If you’re someone who:
Has an eye for design and loves exploring creative ideas.
Gets excited about colours, textures, materials and beautiful spaces.
Enjoys problem-solving and thinking outside the box.
Is curious, open-minded and willing to learn.
Loves collaborating but can also take ownership of your work.
Believes good design should look beautiful and work beautifully.
You might just fit right in.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two projects are quite the same, and that’s what keeps things interesting!
You’ll get to:
Dream up design concepts, mood boards and space-planning ideas.
Explore materials, finishes, colours and creative design solutions.
Bring your ideas to life through drawings, 3D visuals and presentations.
Meet clients, understand their lifestyles and help shape their dream homes.
Learn how to balance creativity, functionality and budgets.
Work alongside our in-house carpentry, tiling and project teams.
Visit sites and see your designs come to life.
Get involved in the details that make a good design great.
What About Experience?
Experience is a bonus, not a must.
We believe great designers aren’t made overnight.
If you’re new to the industry, don’t worry. We’ll provide hands-on training, guidance and mentorship to help you build your confidence, develop your technical skills and understand how design translates into real spaces.
Some familiarity with SketchUp, Procreate or similar design software would be great, but we’re equally interested in your creative potential and willingness to grow.
What matters most to us is your attitude, creativity and commitment to learning.
Site visits are part of the role, because great design doesn’t stop at the drawing board.
Why join us?
Because we want you to grow with us, not just work for us.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
Creative freedom — Bring your ideas, perspectives and personality to the table.
Learn by doing — Gain real experience across the entire design and renovation process.
Guidance & mentorship — Receive training and support as you develop your skills.
Hands-on exposure — Work closely with our in-house craftsmen and see how things are actually built.
Room to grow — Develop your own design approach while learning from the team.
A collaborative environment — Share ideas, ask questions and learn together.
We value individuality, fresh perspectives and people who aren’t afraid to try something new.
