The Junior Photographer supports the creative team by executing day-to-day photography and basic video content across product, e-commerce, social, and campaign needs. This role is highly executional and hands-on, covering product and still-life photography, BTS filming, simple motion shots, and basic video editing.
You are expected to deliver clean, on-brief visuals consistently, work efficiently under tight timelines, and support lead photographers and art direction on larger shoots.
This is not a concept-led role — success is measured by technical accuracy, speed, and reliability, with room to grow into higher responsibility over time.
Photography and basic video content, with a clear focus on 80% photography and 20% video.
What You’ll Do:
Photography & Video Execution
-Shoot product, still life, lifestyle, and basic model content for e-commerce, social, and marketing needs
-Film basic video content, including:
-Behind-the-scenes (BTS) footage on set
-Simple still-life motion shots (slow pans, tilts, handheld, turntables)
-Social-first formats (Reels, short-form clips)
-Assist on editorial and campaign shoots, supporting both photo and video setups
-Ensure all visual outputs meet brand standards for lighting, framing, and consistency
-Liase and make sure all files are organise and setup for reviews
Post-Production (Photo & Basic Video):
-Edit and retouch photos using software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
-Ensure images meet technical and creative standards.
-Organize and archive digital files.
-Handle photo retouching and colour correction (Lightroom / Photoshop) including skin, products details, photo DI.
-Perform basic video editing, including:
-Simple cuts and trims
-Basic colour correction
-Exporting videos to platform-specific formats
-Prepare assets for internal handover (clean exports, correct specs, organised files)
Collaboration:
-Work closely with the Creatives and Marketing teams to understand and execute the creative vision.
-Assist in planning and conceptualizing shoots.
-Take direction and feedback to improve skills and deliver high-quality work.
-Working together with other departments, e.g. Product Design, Product Development and Merchandising teams for clarity on products (their details and design) and launch timelines
Equipment Management:
-Maintain and care for photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, and lighting gear.
-Ensure studio space is clean, organized, and safe.
Who You Are:
-Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field preferred.
-Relevant certifications or courses in photography and editing software.
-1-2 years of experience in still life photography, including internships or freelance work.
-Experience in model photography is a plus.
-Proficiency with DSLR/mirrorless cameras and studio lighting equipment.
-Strong understanding of composition, lighting, and color theory.
-Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.
-Attention to detail and a strong eye for aesthetics.
-Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
-Ability to work collaboratively and take constructive feedback.
