Job Responsibilities:
- Go for shoots as Production Assistant, Grip, Gaffer, or Camera Assistant
Pack and unpack equipment - Load / Unload equipment from and into van
- To run errands
- Camera maintenance such as upgrading software of cameras, cleaning lens, etc
- Assist with camera department administrative work
- ** This is a technical role based in the camera department **
Learning outcomes:Â
- Learn how to set up a C-Stand in a professional way
- Learn the efficient way to open and close the C-Stand legs
- Learn how to be alert and always be ready to help the cameraman and DOP in case they need to move or set up more equipment, changing of camera batteries or even lenses.
- To be alert at all times and learn how to bring the things needed before instructed.
- Learn how to make markings on the floor for the talent so that they can go back to the position for each shot.
- Crowd control is also another important part of making sure the shoot goes smoothly as it would require another take when someone walks in frame when they aren’t supposed to.
Job Requirements:
- A Degree/Diploma in Filmmaking, Production or Mass Communication or equivalent
- Candidates who have a strong interest in the media / film industry would have an added advantage
- Strong technical equipment fundamentals
- Responsible, hardworking and willing to learn
- Self-motivated and possess the ability to work independently as well as cohesively in a team environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment
- Eligibility to work in Singapore (Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident preferred)
- Able to commit full-time (Mon-Fri, 10AM – 7PM)
