Job Description

Founded in 2022, bSIDE is an award-winning, new generation marketing and communications agency based in Singapore. Purposefully boutique in size and electric in energy, we design campaigns with a blend of cultural intelligence and commercial creativity for some of Asia’s most compelling brands—powering them to surprise, delight, and connect.

We’re looking for someone who can move fluidly across disciplines: writing with precision, thinking with rigour, and creating work that actually matters.

The Role

This is a role for someone who leads with ideas and follows through with exceptional execution. You will work across a portfolio of client accounts that run the gamut from hospitality, design, and other businesses of culture; contributing to campaigns, content, events, partnerships, and programming — as part of a close-knit integrated team. No two days look the same, but the standard is always high.

What You’ll Do

  • Write — a lot, and well. From long-form editorial and brand narratives to social copy, pitch decks, media pitches, event concepts, and partner proposals. Your writing should be clear, considered, and never generic.
  • Think critically about business strategy utilising the full spectrum of marketing, including but not limited to PR, events, partnerships, and content, and help translate that thinking into compelling, cohesive campaigns.
  • Build and steward relationships with media, KOLs, tastemakers, partners, and vendors across hospitality, food and drink, design, culture, and lifestyle.
  • Develop content strategies that are platform-aware, purpose- and outcome-driven; tracking performance and producing insights that sharpen future work.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of events (from intimate dinners to larger brand activations) working with partners and vendors to deliver to a high standard, on time and on budget.
  • Support partnerships and programming by identifying culturally relevant and on-brand collaborators, developing concepts, and managing execution with care.
  • Stay genuinely curious about culture, media, and marketing — and bring what you find back to the team in ways that make our work more relevant, interesting, and timely.
  • Support business development through research, creative ideation, and the occasional great pitch.
  • Own your accounts — manage timelines, reporting, and status updates with the discipline and organisation that great client service demands.

Who You Are

  • A strong, versatile writer.  You can shift register between a press release, a brand story, a social caption, and an event brief without losing your voice or your rigour.
  • A critical thinker who asks why before jumping to how — and isn’t satisfied with the obvious answer.
  • Genuinely interested in businesses of culture—those who shape how to live, dream, and play.
  • Comfortable working across marketing, PR, events, content, and partnerships — and curious enough to learn what you don’t yet know.
  • Organised, accountable, and calm under pressure. You can manage multiple workstreams without dropping the ball or losing your standards.
  • Someone who speaks up — with ideas, questions, and a point of view — and who wants to grow into a leader, and never relies on the status quo.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Business / Marketing / Social Sciences, or a related field
  • 1-2 years’ experience in marketing / PR agency
