Job Description

We’re looking for a creative powerhouse who lives and breathes social media trends. As our Content Strategist / Planner, you’ll be the ideas engine behind our content from TikTok trend-jacking videos to engaging Instagram static posts. You’ll work closely with our creative team to conceptualise, plan, and bring content ideas to life, ensuring they align with brand objectives and resonate with our audience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Trend Spotting & Conceptualisation
– Keep your finger on the pulse of social media trends, especially on TikTok and Instagram
– Propose and develop creative video and static post ideas that tap into current trends and audience behaviours
– Create content concepts that are both on-brand and culturally relevant
– Prepare storyboards when necessary (usually for bigger projects)

2. Content Production Support
– Prepare props, materials, and styling for shoots
– Collaborate with photographers, videographers, and designers to bring ideas to life
– Assist in art direction during shoots to ensure the final output matches the vision

3. Copywriting
– Write engaging, on-brand captions and scripts for posts, reels, and campaigns
– Adapt tone of voice to fit different brands and target audiences

4. Social Media Management
– Work with the team to plan and schedule content across platforms
– Monitor and respond to trends quickly to capitalise on engagement opportunities

Requirements:
– 1-3 years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a related field
– Strong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, and emerging social platforms
– A flair for creative storytelling and writing engaging copy
– Proactive in spotting trends and finding ways to make them brand-relevant
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
– Brownie points: Basic art direction or visual styling experience
