Live Sound Engineer
Job Overview:
As a Live Sound Engineer at Corinthians Asia Group, you will play a critical role in ensuring the audio quality and overall success of our live events. You will work closely with artists, performers, and marketing team to deliver exceptional sound experiences that captivate audiences. If you have a deep understanding of audio equipment, a keen ear for detail, and a passion for live entertainment, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Sound Setup and Maintenance:
Set up, operate, and maintain audio equipment such as mixing consoles, microphones, amplifiers, and speakers.
Conduct sound checks before performances to ensure optimal audio quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to audio equipment during live events.
Audio Mixing:
Mix and balance audio sources in real-time to create a clear and balanced sound for performers and the audience.
Collaborate with artists and performers to understand their sound preferences and requirements.
Monitor Sound Quality:
Continuously monitor sound quality throughout live performances and make real-time adjustments as needed to maintain high audio standards.
Manage feedback and noise issues to ensure a seamless experience for the audience.
Collaboration:
Work closely with the musicians and performers to coordinate audio needs and cues.
Communicate effectively with lighting and stage crews to ensure a coordinated production.
Equipment Management:
Maintain and organize audio equipment inventory, ensuring it is in good working condition.
Oversee equipment setup, teardown, and transportation to and from event locations.
Qualifications:
Work permit available for non-Singaporeans.
1–2 years of experience as a Live Sound Engineer in the entertainment industry is a plus.
Aspiring Sound engineers with little or no experience are welcomed.
Proficiency in operating a wide range of audio equipment and software.
Strong technical knowledge of sound systems, signal flow, and troubleshooting techniques.
Exceptional auditory perception and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced live event environments.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel to event locations as needed.
Must be able to speak and understand Chinese, as our establishment features Mandopop live band performances
Lighting: Must be able to operate a lighting board.
Recording & mixing: Able to record and mix in a DAW is a plus.
Certification or formal training in audio engineering is a plus.
