Your Role
We’re looking for a Creative Lead (Video) to join our in-house creative team — a storyteller, maker, and collaborator who can bring ideas to life through compelling visual narratives.
As a Video Lead, you’ll drive creative video projects from concept to completion. You’ll take ownership of key campaigns, leading the process from ideation to shooting and editing, while ensuring consistency and quality across every output.
You’ll be both a hands-on creative and a team leader, guiding junior creatives and collaborating across departments to deliver impactful content for a diverse range of government and commercial clients with varying publishing cadences.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of craft and leadership — confident in the creative process, strategic in execution, and passionate about storytelling that moves people.
Responsibilities
● Lead and oversee storytelling-driven video projects across digital, social, and broadcast platforms, ensuring creative excellence from concept to delivery.
● Interpret creative briefs and transform ideas into compelling visual narratives, overseeing all stages of production — from shooting to post-production.
● Maintain high creative standards, ensuring all video outputs align with campaign strategy, brand tone, and visual language.
● Collaborate closely with creative leads, account managers, and cross-functional teams to conceptualize, pitch, and execute impactful video ideas.
● Mentor and guide junior video creatives, fostering collaboration, growth, and a strong creative culture within the team.
● Oversee project timelines and workflows, ensuring efficient production, consistency, and timely delivery across multiple projects.
● Drive creative ideation by contributing to brainstorms, campaign development, and new business pitches, shaping the visual and tonal direction of proposals.
● Support production execution, including TVCs, long-form, and digital content, maintaining a hands-on approach when needed.
● Champion innovation by exploring emerging storytelling trends, formats, and technologies to continuously elevate the agency’s video craft.
● Ensure operational excellence, providing direction, structure, and feedback across all video outputs and production processes.
● Stay informed on digital culture, platform updates, and production innovations to keep the team’s work fresh and relevant.
● Uphold accountability for deadlines, quality control, and the overall creative impact of all video deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualities
● Strong storytelling instincts and proven experience in cinematography, editing, and sound design.
● Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop); DaVinci Resolve knowledge is a plus.
● Hands-on creative who can balance execution and leadership.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
● Confident presenter who can pitch and sell ideas to internal stakeholders and clients.
● Highly organized, resourceful, and proactive under pressure.
● A collaborative team player who values shared creative growth.
● Keen awareness of digital trends and storytelling formats across platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
● Passionate about creativity, storytelling, and crafting meaningful video content.
