Elevan August Media is looking for a capable Short Content Videographer, Editor for our food journaling platform, Damn Shiok Ah to join us in building our social following.

Responsibilities
As a Short Content Videographer, Editor, you will be creating content, filming and editing short videos, designing simple posts and writing articles. Aside from this, you will also assist in other marketing activities like managing social media accounts and brainstorming sessions to create fresh and creative content.
You should have good knowledge of social media platforms, creating short-form videos and content that will perform well on Instagram, Facebook & TikTok.
- Film & edit short videos for Instagram Reels, Facebook videos and TikTok
- Plan, storyboard, and conceptualise creative ideas for video content based on the agreed brief
- Determining size and arrangements of illustrative materials, font styles and sizes and ensure proper framing, composition, and lighting for each shot
- Conduct interviews and record audio for video projects when necessary
- Stay up-to-date on video trends and best practices, and share that knowledge with the team
- Copywriting, proofreading, and editing support for different digital platforms and audiences, understanding audience profile, and platform requirements
- Manage replies and handle engagement, follower growth, etc
- Execute & schedule post image and video-based content across social media channels, depending on the requirements of each channel
- Monitoring the results of content delivered on major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram
- Ensure the proper storage, organization, and backup of video files and assets.
- Ensure compliance with legal and copyright regulations during the production process.
- Create thumbnails using Canva
- Assist in any marketing ad-hoc tasks
Job requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications, or equivalent work experience in video or film production
Strong proficiency in English, with strong copy vetting and writing skills - Good understanding of social media best practices
- Familiar in social media platform such as Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, Xiao Hong Shu and YouTube
- Proficient in Creative applications (Canva, Capcut, Adobe Premier, Final Cut Pro, Adobe After Effect) etc.
- Knowledge in content creation
- Knowledge of Canva is a plus
- Can work both independently and in teams
- Proactive, with a positive and can-do attitude
