Job Description

Job Title: Brand & Community Intern (March – August 2026)

Company: Elly Issey
Location: Singapore (Hybrid / Flexible)
Commitment: Full-time (6 Months)

About Us:  Elly Issey is a Singapore-based premium childrenswear brand designing heirloom-quality pieces for little ones. Our collections are crafted from soft organic fabrics and inspired by the quiet beauty of nature. We believe children’s clothing should be thoughtfully made, comfortable to wear, and beautiful enough to be treasured and passed down.

As we grow, we are looking for a creative, driven, and hands-on intern to work closely with the founders during an exciting stage of building the brand.

The Role:  This role sits at the intersection of content, community building, and operations. You will help bring the Elly Issey world to life across social media while supporting the day-to-day operations that keep a growing brand running. While you will help execute our Instagram content direction, you will also have the opportunity to build and grow our TikTok presence from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

1. TikTok Lead (Ownership & Growth)

  • Take ownership of the Elly Issey TikTok account, contributing ideas to grow followers, engagement, and brand discovery.
  • Content Volume: Conceptualize, film, and edit 4–6 TikTok videos per week.
  • Manage TikTok Shop, integrating product placements naturally into content and exploring ways to drive discovery and sales.

2. Instagram Content Studio (Execution)

  • Create 1–2 high-quality posts per week (Reels or Carousels) aligned with the Elly Issey aesthetic.
  • Keep our community engaged through 4–6 Instagram Stories weekly (behind-the-scenes moments, polls, product highlights).
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure content reflects our signature heirloom aesthetic.

3. Operations & Logistics

  • Inventory & Order Fulfilment: Carefully pick, pack, and prepare online orders and PR kits.
  • Video Production: Shoot and edit social media assets using tools like CapCut, VN, or InShot.

4. Event Experience

  • Support the team during pop-up events and brand activations.
  • Commitment: Must be available for 6-day stretches during pop-up/fair periods (including weekends) to assist with booth setup, visual merchandising, and customer engagement. Time off will be compensated on a weekday.

Who You Are:

A “TikTok Native”: You understand what makes content engaging and shareable.
Strong Visual Taste: You appreciate soft palettes, organic textures, and a premium aesthetic.
Hands-On & Proactive: Comfortable balancing creative work with operational tasks.
Video Editing Skills: Confident using CapCut, VN, or InShot.
Student or Recent Graduate: In Marketing, Fashion Management, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Design or related fields.

What You’ll Get:

Real Ownership: The chance to meaningfully contribute to growing a young brand.
Mentorship: Work closely with the founders and gain insight into building a modern direct-to-consumer brand.
Remote First Schedule: This is a remote-first internship, designed for flexibility and ownership. Outside of pop-up/fair periods, most work will be done independently from home, with two in-person co-working sessions each week with the founder. Interns should have their own laptop for day-to-day work.
Performance Bonus: Bonus upon successful execution of pop-up events.
