Job Description

We’re not just making movies — we’re creating cultural moments, and we need a Film Marketing Executive who’s ready to make magic happen over the next 8–10 months. Responsibilities: 

Social Media Marketing
  • Ideate, plan, and execute social media marketing and communications strategies across various platforms for Giraffe’s 2026 new release
  • Manage and execute daily social media posts, stories, reposts, and follower engagement to create impression, raise awareness, sustain anticipation, and grow followers and audiences leading up to the film’s release
  • Copywriting for posts across social media platforms, websites, and banners
  • Liaise with designers and editors to coordinate and supervise post design and editing
  • Stay on top of film-related news, trends, and events to ensure timely social media posting
  • Monitor website and social media traffic, analyse data and ad spend, and adjust strategies based on performance
Sponsorship & Event Activation
  • Brainstorm strategies for potential sponsorships, KOL/KOI collaborations, and partnerships for events (including premiere galas, special screenings, exhibitions, etc.) across pre- and post-release phases
  • Proactively seek and engage potential partners and community groups aligned with the film’s subject matter and marketing identity
  • Negotiate and secure partnership, community engagement, and event details
  • Coordinate logistics and liaise with vendors, sponsors, partners, and venues to ensure smooth event operations
  • Support social media pre-event publicity, event coverage, and post-event reporting/write-ups
Visibility & Ads
  • Assist and liaise with media for press coverage, interviews, and reviews for cast and crew
  • Assist in drafting and distributing press kits and press releases
  • Monitor, organize, and archive press coverage
  • Facilitate outreach to secure P&A and other advertising placements
Merchandise
  • Brainstorm merchandise designs and sales strategies to drive awareness and revenue
  • Liaise with designers, manufacturers, and internal teams on merchandise design and production
  • Oversee online and physical merchandise sales
  • Monitor sales performance and adjust inventory and manufacturing strategies accordingly
Film Festival Run Logistics
  • Facilitate film festival travel for cast and crew
  • Plan logistics and schedules for premieres, press events, conferences, interviews, etc.

 

Requirements

  • Self-starter; resourceful, organised, and detail-oriented
  • Good time management and strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative and able to think outside the box
  • Marketing or distribution experience (film or general) preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Highly proficient in managing social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok, X, and RedNote
  • Proficiency in basic graphic design and video editing
  • Must be based in Singapore
  • Contract role (8–10 months)
