Job Description
Job Scope:
- Conducting workshops ( Picking up the necessary skills and conduct workshop briefing – training will be provided)
- Upkeeping of workshop operations (cleanliness, safety, customer service, retail enquiries, inventory management, workshop enquiries, workshop collections and miscellaneous tasks well within workshop premises, etc.)
- Advocate of workshop safety
Commitment level required:
Weekends: 9:30 AM to around 7:30PM (with a one-hour lunch break). You’ll need to be available for at least one weekend (Saturday or Sunday) each week, with occasional absences allowed for holidays or personal commitments.
Weekdays: The first month will focus on training. Beyond the first month, working days will be on weekends. Priority will be given to candidates who can also occasionally assist on weekdays beyond the training period.
Commitment: Since full training is provided, a minimum 12-month commitment is required to ensure the time invested in training can be meaningfully applied in workshops.
Commensuration:
- $10/hr during the first three months of training – dependent on your pickup rate to hit the next tier
- $12/hr once you can assist with conducting the workshop,
- $14/hr once you can conduct the workshop yourself.
- CPF contributions
Important:
The working conditions will be hot, as we can’t have air conditioning due to the use of flames and the need for constant ventilation. If you have medical conditions exacerbated by heat and sweating, please take that into consideration when applying.
