Job Description

Contract (Part Timer and/or Full Time) role for Junior Producer

What You’ll Be Doing:

Creative Hamlet is offering an opportunity for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to undertake the role of a Junior Producer, supporting critical functions within both Business Administration and Creative Production duties.

We are inviting applicants for a part-time contract role (minimum 3-month commitment), with the potential for extension or transition into a full-time position.

We are looking for media professionals to join our team. Whether your background is in media agencies, production, or a related field, we are interested in hearing how your experience can contribute to our work.

While technical experience is valuable, our priority is finding team members who are genuinely invested in the media industry and eager to take on projects. If you are passionate about the craft and want to be part of a collaborative environment, we would love to see your portfolio and hear from you.

This role offers hands-on experience and a thorough insight into production, marketing and administrative functions within a media agency and production house.

Work Arrangements:
  • 4x days a week
  • Hybrid Work Arrangement: Estimated 3x Days of On-Site Work, and 1x Day of Remote work per week.
  • Due to the nature of work involved, employees might be required to partake in shift work or work on the weekends. Off-days / Off-in-lieu days will be given for such occurrences.

 

Role Responsibilities:

Admin & Operations
  • Manage internal scheduling and maintain comprehensive administrative records.
  • Track potential leads and projects while supporting the team in drafting high-quality proposals and pitch decks.
  • Manage operational workflows and handle critical ad-hoc tasks to ensure daily agency efficiency.
Production & Creative Support
  • Partner with Producers and the creative team on concept creation, ideation, and the development of fresh creative angles.
  • Support the Producer and Executive Producer across the full project lifecycle, from pre-production through to final delivery.
  • Handle and/or assist in liaising and contacting clients, for project managing and correspondence, providing status updates, and ensuring alignment on production requirements.
  • Develop essential project briefs and working schedules to keep the team and project milestones on track.
  • Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions and help refine content strategies for pitches and client presentations.
  • Manage the end-to-end flow of research, assets, and collateral between the team, clients, and vendors.
  • Oversee project financial records, including budget tracking, claims processing, and remuneration management.
  • Create and maintain professional pre-production documentation (Scripting, Storyboarding, Location Plans, Shooting Schedules) and production planning tools (Call Sheets, Data Logs, Logistics Plans).
  • Facilitate production meetings, manage script breakdowns, and coordinate logistics for location scouting, casting, and rehearsals.
  • Lead project correspondence and serve as the point of contact for external vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide active on-site production management and logistical support for shoots and events.
  • Capture professional behind-the-scenes (BTS) photo and video coverage on set.
  • Monitor production timelines and ensure all deliverables align with client requirements.
  • Maintain a structured and accessible creative asset library.

 

Requirements:
  • Open to all backgrounds: ITE/Nitec students, Polytechnic students, University students, fresh grads, or anyone with relevant skills and passion is welcome to apply.
  • Graduates, or currently pursuing a Nitec, Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree in the Arts, Media and/or Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace equivalent.
  • Proficiency in using Canva and CapCut is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Adobe software (Photoshop, Lightroom, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.) is a plus.
