Under the Creative Hamlet collective, we operate House of Scenes (Full-Service Media Production House), House of Sanctity (Production Arm for Celebrations and Weddings) and Design Praxis (Branding and Design Agency). What You’ll Be Doing:
Creative Hamlet is offering an opportunity for a creative and passionate individual to join our team as a Multimedia Design (Design and Content Creation) Intern. We are looking for individuals who can commit to a full-time (3-6 months) internship period.
You will be immersed in the world of graphic design and visual storytelling, contributing to the creation of design assets and engaging content across various platforms. This role offers hands-on experience in design, content creation, and the opportunity to bring your creative ideas to life for a diverse range of projects.
This can be part of your internship program from your school curriculum, an internship you undertake during your semester break, a stint after graduation, or to transition to a different career pathway, etc. We are open to applicants from different backgrounds.
Work Arrangements:
5x days a week, 8 hours a day.
Hybrid Work Arrangement: Estimated 4x Days of On-Site Work, and 1x Day of Remote work per week.
Due to the nature of work involved, employees might be required to partake in shift work or work on the weekends. Off-days / Off-in-lieu days will be given for such occurrences.
Role Responsibilities:
Design print and digital materials, including posters, brochures, presentations, and social media graphics.
Create and assist in producing 2D and 3D visual assets for various projects.
Support visual storytelling through ideation tools such as sketching and storyboards, and assist with concept development for content and campaigns.
Assist with basic video editing for social media when required.
Maintain and organise digital asset libraries.
Stay current with design trends, social media best practices, and emerging creative tools.
Requirements:
A strong portfolio showcasing your design and/or content creation skills (please include a link or PDF and attach it to your application).
Open to all backgrounds: ITE/Nitec students, Polytechnic students, University students, fresh grads, or anyone with relevant skills and passion is welcome to apply.
Graduates, or currently pursuing a Diploma OR Bachelor’s degree in Design, Multimedia, Visual Communications, Film, or a related field is a plus.
Strong interest in storytelling, branding, and digital culture.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace equivalent.
Proficiency in Adobe Design software (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a must.
Proficiency in Canva is a must.
Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CapCut, etc) is a plus.
Remuneration:Â
For Pre-University Students or Graduates (i.e., Polytechnic, ITE, Nitec, A Level): SGD 750 – 900.
For individuals currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Programme or Post Bachelor’s Degree Graduate (or equivalent): SGD 800 – 1050
