Job Description

Job Title: Digital Art Freelance Artist / Art Instructor

> The digital art freelance artist is required to be able to create high-quality digital artworks (illustrations, character design, concept art, or animation, depending on project needs), and this shall be communicated when there are project(s).
> Be able to develop lesson plans and conduct engaging digital art classes/workshops for students (children, teens, or adults), prepare required learning resources, digital references, and project briefs for students.
> Be able to teach manga and anime-style drawing using digital art tools, including character design, expressions, poses, and storytelling.
> Instruct students on software skills (e.g., Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Illustrator, etc.).
> Guide students in digital drawing fundamentals: sketching, linework, coloring, shading, layers, lighting, and effects.
> Provide personalized feedback and coaching to help students improve their artistic skills and portfolios.
> Demonstrate techniques live during lessons and ensure students understand step-by-step processes.
> Maintain professional communication with clients, students, and art organizations.

Requirements

> Strong portfolio in digital art, with a focus on manga, anime, illustration, or concept art.
> Proficiency in digital art software (e.g., Procreate, Photoshop, Clip Studio Paint, Illustrator, etc.).
> No compulsory, but prior teaching or mentoring experience in art (formal or informal) is preferred.
> Good communication and presentation skills, with ability to explain concepts clearly.
> Creative, patient, and adaptable to different student learning styles.
