Job Scope
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team. The ideal candidate may be a recent graduate or someone with 1-2 years of experience in market research. The role entails two key fundamental areas:
Fieldwork Operations
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support in managing the fieldwork team that comprises of field supervisors and interviewers/ surveyors to ensure smooth operations on the ground.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Recruit, brief and train new surveyor/interviewer hires to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the project requirements and execute their tasks smoothly.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Assist in fieldwork planning by assigning surveyors to various projects or schedules.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Build strong rapport with the supervisors and interviewers.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Monitor fieldwork progress/quotas closely.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Conduct quality control checks on fieldwork as well as data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Able to run fieldwork based on a diverse array of survey methodologies and sampling methods.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Escalate and address fieldwork issues in a timely manner.
Project Management
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure project plans and schedules, including timelines and milestones, are adhered to.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support in establishing fieldwork plan, schedule, documentation, standard operating procedure (SOPs) and training materials.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ensure compliance with processes and documentations (e.g. consent forms, acknowledgement forms, call logs/updates) for the projects.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Provide regular updates on the progress of projects to leadership and broader team.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Manage project within budgeted cost and time and the resources required (e.g. tablets and incentives) are ready for deployment.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Support the process of data cleaning and processing.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful completion of research projects.
Job requirements and expectations
–       Minimum qualification of diploma. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field will be advantageous.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Fresh graduates (polytechnics or university) are welcome to apply.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong attention to detail and being highly organised are important.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Able to perform and remain poise even in challenging situations.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Possesses great soft skills and personality – approachable, candid, go-getting and collaborative.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and field workers.
–Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
