Who We Are
Kin Super Supps was born from a simple idea: dogs deserve better. Better ingredients, better science, and better support—especially as they age.
After years feeding dogs fresh, biologically appropriate meals, we saw the gaps in the supplement space firsthand. Too many products with flashy claims, vague labels, and questionable quality. So we decided to build what we couldn’t find—a smarter, cleaner, more honest approach to pet care and wellness.
We’re a small team with big ambitions. We're building from the ground up, which means there’s real opportunity to shape not just what we make, but how we work. No egos, no bureaucracy—just good people trying to do great work.
🐕 We’re serious about quality, intentional about our work, and grounded in real-life impact.
🚀 You’ll have a high level of ownership and the freedom to figure things out.
🌍 Our team works remotely across time zones—so we keep things clear, flexible, and respectful of each other's time.
💬 We move fast, give honest feedback, and care deeply about the details—because the details are what make great products.
If you’re energized by the idea of helping build a brand with soul, smarts, and a genuine love for animals—come be part of it.
Job Description
About:
KIN Super Supps was born from a simple idea: our dogs deserve better. Better ingredients, better science, and better support, especially as they age.
We launched our first line of advanced functional supplements in the US earlier this year and we’re growing fast – dogs doing well, owners recommending us to their friends, and more dog parents finding us every week. Every formula is science-backed, transparently made, and crafted with the same care we’d want for our own dogs.
We’re looking for a Social Media Executive to own our organic channels across socials and emails. You’ll design the posts, write the captions, build and send the emails, and speak to our audience in their communities.
The right candidate is someone that cares about dogs and their health the same way we do, with the design and communication skills to speak directly to our customers as KIN.
You’ll manage your channels, have the freedom to try things, and grow as fast as your work does.
You’ll love this role if:
– You genuinely love dogs and could happily talk about them all day. Most of this job is being in real conversations about dogs, their health, and what actually helps them. If that sounds fun, you’re the person we’re looking for.
– You like owning something and running with it, instead of waiting to be told what to do next.
– You care about doing work that’s actually good, not just getting it out the door.
Scope:
You’ll work across three channels, all feeding the same goal: growing our organic sales. You’ll work with our marketing team to drive growth across each channel and measure that growth.
Channel 1. Organic Social
Grow sales through organic social by:
– Planning and posting consistently across our social channels, with Instagram the priority for now
– Designing and editing polished, on-brand posts, carousels, and short-form video for our social channels and website
– Replying to comments, DMs, and customer questions across our social channels
Channel 2. Community Management
Grow KIN through the communities where dog parents already spend their time:
– Run our grassroots seeding strategy across Reddit, Facebook groups, forums, and comment sections
– Get KIN into the right conversations naturally, not as a brand dropping an ad
– Stay close to our customers, learning what matters to them and how they describe their dogs’ problems in their own words, and feed that back to the team to sharpen our marketing
Channel 3. Email
Grow the revenue that comes from our email channel.
– Design, build, and send our campaigns and flows in Klaviyo (no prior experience needed, we’ll train you on the platform)
– Work alongside our copywriters to bring their copy to life as clean, on-brand emails. Your focus is design and delivery
– Manage the email calendar and grow the sales our emails drive
Experience & Education:
– A diploma or degree in media, design, communications, or a related field
– Experience in a design, brand, or creative role, either brand or agency is preferred but not necessary.
– Confident with writing, graphic design and video editing.
Skills:
The right person for this role must have these skills:
1. Product and audience understanding
You are able to deeply understand supplements and our audience: what dog parents worry about, what they hope for their dogs, and how they think about ingredients, feeding, and the science behind it. You’ll need to hold real, informed conversations in our communities, not surface-level ones. We’ve done a lot of the groundwork already, so a big part of this is picking it up quickly. If you already understand dogs and/or supplements, you’ll have a head start.
2. Social conversational writing
You can write the way a dog parent actually talks like a friend on socials.
3. Social brand design
You have a strong design eye and can create posts, short form video, and graphics that look polished and stay on brand.
Results:
Success in this role is measured by:
1. Organic sales growth:
Your channels – social, community, and email – are bringing in real, measurable traffic and sales, and that number is growing month on month. You’re working with the marketing team to develop more strategies and assets to build on the momentum for each channel.
2. Workflow and collaboration:
You ship consistently and hit your deadlines, with a steady flow of content going out across all three channels. You work smoothly with our copywriters, media buyer, and marketing lead, take feedback well, and turn it around quickly.
3. Representing KIN well:
Everything you put out looks and sounds like KIN, whether it’s a post, an email, or a reply in a Reddit thread. Out in the communities, you represent the brand the way we would ourselves: helpful, genuine, and someone dog parents trust.
What’s in it for you:
– Do work that you can be excited about, if you’re someone that loves dogs. You’ll help dogs live healthier, more comfortable lives, and help the people who love them do right by them.
– Shape the growth of our social channels in this early growth stage – see your work and ideas compound over time.
– Freedom to try new ideas and formats, alongside an experienced marketing team you’ll learn a lot from.
– A small team that trusts you to do great work. No approval chains, no micro-management. You’ll be supported and assisted by seniors and peers, but you get the ownership of doing good work and growing your channels.
– A clear path into a content or creative leadership role as we grow.
