Freelance Spatial Designer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Designing diverse spaces such as exhibitions, pop ups including environmental graphics and wayfinding signage.
• Employing strong conceptual design skills for the design from end to end taking projects from concept to final drawings and production.
• You confidently deliver your thinking and design narratives with clarity, regularly sharing your proposals with internal senior creatives.
• Keen eye for detail to ensure quality control in all design output, ensuring consistency and creative excellence
• Collaborate with clients, partners and suppliers, and ensure effective communication in order to deliver creative work that meets the expectation of clients, including but not limited to creation of design briefs, addressing client feedback, ensuring production quality etc.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of 3D design experience within a creative agency, with experience in exhibition design and/or architecture team
• You are able to realise your design intent with expert 3D modelling and render skills in Sketchup, Enscape or V-Ray (AutoCAD, Blender, Photoshop, Illustrator is a plus)
• Ability to read and create technical drawings, and have a good grasp of scale
• A creatively diverse individual who enjoys cross discipline collaboration
• Self-motivated and adaptable – you thrive in the dynamic, all-hands-on-deck nature of boutique agency life
• Excellent eye for detail, and aesthetics
• Able to work independently and remotely
