Who We Are
Kiihold began in 2022 as a workshop motivated by functional design and creative problem-solving. We started out primarily serving the commercial rock climbing industry, but as our capabilities progressed and we encountered demand outside climbing, the Kii Workshop brand emerged to serve all creative/niche projects, as well as developing production pieces. The bulk of our work lately is in custom work for brands, experiences, and homes.
Our focus is thoughtful, intentional design. Practicing design like this has allowed us to serve and connect with people and communities who also exist for people and community. Growing and providing value within this collective keeps us going.

Job Description
We are welcoming help in the workshop!
We’re primarily looking to have more hands on fabrication; expect general woodworking, finishing, and the like. The daily scope will vary with the builds we have lined up (sometimes production pieces, sometimes custom pieces, sometimes just doing testing or R&D). No experience required, we have a wide range of tasks, tools, and skills to take you through progressively.
We are also open to arrangements involving work outside of fabrication, such as content (visuals, website, socials), admin, design, etc.
Hours are flexible with no minimum, work days available Monday – Saturday.
