Job Description

Duration: Now to July 2026
Location: Singapore (on-site / project-based)

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Design Coordinator to work closely with the Design Director on a major ongoing project.

This role sits between the Design Director and the team. You’ll help keep things moving, aligned, and properly carried through. It’s hands-on, detail-heavy, and very much part of the day-to-day making of the work.

You’ll be involved in both the design process and the practical side of getting things done. This includes coordination, follow-ups, sourcing, and making sure decisions and directions are properly translated into execution.

This is a contract role tied to a key project, and also a way for us to assess if this role should exist long term in the studio.

What You’ll Be Doing
-Work closely with the Design Director in her day-to-day with the team
-Keep track of what’s happening across the project and flag anything that needs attention
-Anticipate issues or gaps before they become problems
-Follow through on tasks and directions from the Design Director
-Help keep communication clear between the Design Director, team, and external partners
Step in where needed to keep things moving
Source materials, vendors, and partners for costing and feasibility
Liaise with fabricators, printers, and collaborators to get the information needed
Support feasibility checks to make sure what’s designed can actually be built properly

How You’ll Be Working
-You’ll be working very closely with the Design Director
-This is a support role, but it requires ownership over follow-through and coordination
-The way we design is very considered and quite specific, so attention to detail matters a lot
-The work environment is fluid and hands-on, so you’ll need to be responsive and adaptable

What We’re Looking For
-Background in design such as graphic, spatial, product, or related fields
-Someone who is detail-oriented and cares about how things are done, not just getting them done
-Organised and proactive, able to keep track of multiple moving parts
-Comfortable talking to vendors and external partners
-Able to take direction well and execute things properly
-Open to learning by working closely within an established way of working
