Who We Are
We are an early-stage startup building our company, focused on helping young children (ages 2-6) learn through fun, hands-on activities. Our goal is to make quality time between parents and children more meaningful and engaging through thoughtfully designed learning experiences. We are currently in the building phase, working on our products, content, and brand and looking for someone who’s excited to grow and create with us.
Job Description
The Mission
We are an early-stage startup reimagining how children learn and play. Forget corporate red tape; we are in the “building phase,” and we need a right-hand creative to help us bring our vision to life. You won’t just be “interning” – you’ll be executing, brainstorming, and making a tangible impact on the future of early education.
What You’ll Be Doing
Content Alchemist: Taking raw children’s activity concepts and editing them into polished, engaging, and “kid-approved” masterpieces.
Production Scout: Assisting in photography and visual assets for our video productions. You’ll work alongside an external specialist, ensuring our brand’s “soul” is captured in every frame.
Founder’s Creative Partner: Direct access to the founder. You’ll join brainstorming sessions to improve our product, marketing, and overall strategy. If you have a good idea, we’ll build it.
The “Glue”: General execution of tasks to keep the startup moving at 100km/h.
The Setup & Perks
Hours: 6 hours a day (The “Anti-Burnout” Schedule).
Flexibility: 1 day WFH per week.
Fuel: Unlimited snacks and drinks.
Vacation: 2 days of paid leave per month.
The Pay: $1,000 (+ as per experience) month + Employer CPF (we do it right).
Are You The One?
We don’t care about a 4.0 GPA as much as we care about vibe and velocity. We need:
A “doer” who doesn’t wait for instructions for every tiny step.
Someone with a “creative eye” (photography or design interest is a huge plus).
Excellent English writing/editing skills.
A genuine interest in education or child development.
Specific Requirement: Hands-On Product Videography
You should be comfortable setting up, shooting, and quickly editing professional-looking product/activity videos. For example, if we give you a children’s activity such as making a paper boat, you should know how to:
– Set up the table, background, lighting, camera angle, and props so the activity looks clean and professional.
– Film hands demonstrating the activity clearly, step by step.
– Capture good close-ups and visually appealing shots of the materials and finished product.
– Work efficiently and shoot multiple activities without needing extensive direction.
– Quickly edit the footage into a clean, polished video.
– Have a good eye for composition, lighting, framing, and overall visual presentation.
You do not need to be a professional filmmaker, but you should already have hands-on experience creating polished product, craft, DIY, food, tutorial, or similar demonstration videos.
Please share 1–3 examples of videos you have personally shot and/or edited with your application.
How To Apply (The “Gatekeeper” Questions)
Standard CVs are boring. To get an interview, please submit your CV along with answers to the following:
Why you? What makes you the “creative executioner” we need?
Why us? How does this internship specifically bridge the gap to your career goals?
The Commute: How long will it take you to get to Kovan MRT? (Be honest!)
Availability: Confirm you can start in April 2026 for a 2-month stint.
Equipment & Workspace
This is a home-based setup (Kovan MRT, literally steps away).
You’ll be working from a dedicated home office environment alongside the founder.
Please note: You will need to use your own laptop/device for this role.
