Job Description

Marketing Intern
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to support our marketing team. The intern will be responsible for developing engaging content for social media platforms and other communication channels, provide support for key marketing functions such as coordinating media previews, and updating website content. The intern will also provide front-of-house support during productions. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced marketing environment while gaining privileged access to the behind-the-scenes working in a leading cultural institution in Singapore.

Job Scope
Marketing Campaign

  1. Assist in the development, execution and evaluation of marketing campaigns for performances and events
  2. Support the creation of promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and programme booklet
  3. Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets

Digital Marketing and Content Creation

  1. Manage and update Singapore Ballet’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc) with engaging content
  2. Create and edit visual and video content for social media and other digital platforms
  3. Write copy for email newsletters and website updates

Others

  1. Provide front-of-house support during productions, including ticketing and program booklet distribution
  2. Assist in coordinating logistics for all events and productions
  3. Monitor and report on performance of digital campaigns (e.g. social media engagement, website traffic, and email open rates)
  4. Update and maintain marketing databases, including media lists and audience contacts
  5. Handle ad-hoc administrative tasks to support the marketing team
    Working Hours:

5-day work week: Mon – Fri 9am – 6pm
During production days: 1pm – 10pm
Reports to: Marketing Manager

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic graphic design tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut or equivalent)
  • Familiar with social media platforms and scheduling tools
  • Strong writing and communications skills
  • Passionate about the arts and dance
  • Creative, detail-oriented and is a proactive team player
  • Able to start immediately
