Job Description
As an intern with the Production Management team, you will support the planning, coordination, and
execution of SAM’s exhibitions and projects. This role involves a mix of hands-on and administrative
work, ranging from artwork care and maintenance to exhibition logistics and documentation. You
will gain exposure to a wide range of contemporary art presentations, including artworks that
incorporate unconventional materials.

Intern Responsibilities
• Develop an understanding of and assist in the various aspects of production management at
SAM
• Assist with the preparation of upcoming exhibitions, including logistics planning leading up
to installation, exhibition maintenance, troubleshooting of artworks, and post-exhibition
reviews and archival documentation
• Collate artwork information and technical requirements from artists and research/source
materials as required (project-dependent)
• Support administrative processes such as file organisation and management, timeline
planning, preparation of procurement and contractual documents, and payment-related
documentation
• Research and identify production management-related issues with new and innovative
forms of contemporary art and exhibition presentations, including online platforms, VR, AR,
and MR, etc.
• Perform other ad-hoc tasks related to production management as assigned
Requirements
• Available to commit full-time (Monday to Friday) for a minimum of 3 months (up to 6
months), starting from May/Jun
• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate from Arts, Design & Project Management background
are preferred but not limited
• Strong interest in the museum and arts field
• Able and willing to perform the responsibilities outlined above
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude
