Job Description
As an Industry Intern, you’ll get hands-on experience supporting our team in delivering an unforgettable experience for global industry leaders, experts, and participants. This is a great opportunity to learn about event coordination, hospitality, and relationship management in a fast-paced, arts-focused environment.
Job Scope
- Support the planning and coordination of the SGIFF Pro programmes, helping create a smooth and memorable experience for participants.
- Support accreditation and delegate registration processes.
- Liaise with speakers and moderators regarding schedules, materials, and technical needs.
- Prepare briefing notes, session rundowns, and guest folders.
- Assist in managing presentation decks, AV requirements, and venue coordination.
- Support the administration of project submissions (tracking entries, eligibility checks, database organisation).
- Coordinate communication with selected producers and project teams.
- Compile project catalogues, synopses, and industry directories.
- Assist in managing travel arrangements and accommodation logistics (where applicable).
- Support the on-site festival experience, assisting to ensure events run seamlessly.
- Help gather feedback from participants to evaluate the programme and inform future improvements.

Skills and Qualifications:
- A strong interest in film, events, arts, and cultural programming.
- Friendly, confident communicator with good people skills.
- Organised, proactive, and adaptable under pressure.
- Comfortable engaging with artists, industry guests, and public audiences.
- Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, or customer service is a bonus—but not required.

SGIFF currently has a hybrid working policy in place with time split between the office and working from home. Closer to the festival dates and various events, more time will be required at the SGIFF office or at various venues.
