We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Assistant Manager for Education to join our team and play a crucial role in advancing our mission.

 

Job Description:

The Assistant Manager for Education will assist in conceptualising and support the implementation of programmes and production of education sector-related resources/collaterals to promote kindness within schools. Working closely with the Director, and Deputy Director, this role allows room for creativity in programme design and management. Responsibilities include event management, partnership cultivation, budget oversight, and programme evaluation. Qualifications include experience in programme development and a bachelor’s degree in education, Social Work, or related fields, are highly desirable although candidates from other areas may also be considered.

Programmes for Kindsville & Friends of Singa

  • Provide assistance in conceptualising, marketing, and support the execution of Kindsville and Friends of Singa programmes, events, and resources to spread the message of kindness and graciousness for preschoolers up to secondary schools.
  • Manage/Assess/Attend to booking systems for programmes and workshops.
    Manage and review internal budget and logistics for programmes and events under your charge, including sponsorship requests.
  • Establish accountability and evaluation standards and procedures to track programme effectiveness and impact.
  • Provide post-event and programme reports for review and recommend areas of improvement.
  • Seek, build, and maintain partnerships to collaborate with schools, government, and private organisations to run SKM Education Sector-related programmes, workshops and events alongside other 4 – 5 Managers

Qualifications:

  • Skills: Strong organisational and project management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, education, social work, or a related field is preferable.
  • Experience: At least two years of experience in programme development and management, preferably in the education sector or at least three years of experience in other fields
  • Certifications: Any additional qualifications in educational programme design, public relations, or marketing will be a plus.
