Job Description
The Role
As a Producer / Content Creator, you will play a key role in the entire lifecycle of our social media retainers and social campaigns – mostly helping to produce Reels and TikToks for our clients.
Note: This is a 6-month contract role.
You will be responsible for:
Pre-production:
- Brainstorming and developing creative ideas for social media content.
- Collaborating with the creative team to develop storyboards and scripts that align with the client’s brief and objectives
- Conducting research on the latest social media trends, specifically on TikTok and Instagram, and incorporating these into our content strategy
- Casting and liaising with talents for shoots
- Scheduling and preparing for shoots, including coordinating with crew, talent, securing locations, and ensuring all necessary equipment and props are ready
Production:
- Ensuring that the DOP, Director, and crew on set are on brief and on schedule
- Ensuring high quality production value while maintaining a fast-paced output for retainers and video projects
- Working closely with the team on set, ensuring a smooth production process and troubleshooting any issues that arise
- Overseeing the recording and collection of any additional footage or assets needed for the post-production process
- Creating shot-on-iPhone content for clients
Post-production
- Editing and grading videos using CapCut for shot-on-iPhone content
- Reviewing and overseeing revisions to video content based on feedback from the team and clients
- Ensuring all content is correctly formatted and optimised for the intended social media platform, whether that’s TikTok, Instagram Reels, or others.
General Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative ideas for social media retainers and projects
- Develop social media strategies and pitches for existing and potential clients
- Be aware of social media trends and incorporate them into client portfolios
- Create execution storyboards for our clients’ social content, especially for TikTok and Reels
- Shoot and edit video content on iPhone for multiple social platforms, inclusive of TikTok content
- Edit and grade videos for Reels / TikTok using software such as PrePro / CapCut
- Shoot, edit, and grade images for social content
- Execute, schedule, and post approved content across various social media platforms
- Using social media management platforms like Meta Business Suite, Sprout Social, or Later to schedule postings and generate reports.
- Liaise with team members and clients, ensuring timely and efficient communication and meeting the rapid demands of social video content
- Managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail
Requirements
- Have an understanding of creating integrated content across digital and social platforms
- Spend at least an hour on TikTok a day and know what the latest trends are
- If you don’t know galvanised square steel or the brain rot meme pls don’t apply.
- Able to translate ideas into content solutions that fit client briefs and objectives
- Proficiency in video editing on TikTok & CapCut
- Resourceful and independent working style and able to cope well under pressure
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
- Organised and have attention to detail
- Good to have
- Able to edit and grade pictures on Adobe Photoshop / Lightroom
- Able to shoot content on DSLR cameras
