Job Description

Since 1908, Solis has successfully been introducing new household appliances for the kitchen, beauty, and climate-control segments. As a Swiss company with a long and rich tradition, values like reliability, trust, and sustainability are particularly important to Solis.

We are looking for a hands-on E-commerce & Marketing Executive to support the day-to-day running of our webshops and global marketing content operations. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and execution-focused, who enjoys keeping online storefronts running smoothly while also supporting broader marketing and content needs across the business — including acting as a go-to advisor for our Japan market on social media and marketplace advertising.

You’ll work closely with the E-commerce Manager and support both D2C and B2B webshop channels, technical coordination, SEO, and global marketing asset management.

Responsibilities

Webshop Management (D2C & B2B):

  • Manage and maintain both D2C and B2B webshops, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations
  • Handle product uploads, pricing, and catalogue updates
  • Build and update banners, landing pages, and on-site content
  • Support day-to-day merchandising to keep webshops fresh, accurate, and on-brand
  • Coordinate with developers, IT, or technical vendors to troubleshoot and resolve webshop issues
  • Support the implementation of new features, integrations, or platform updates
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for technical fixes and enhancements on the webshops

SEO:

  • Implement on-page SEO best practices across webshops (metadata, page structure, content optimisation)
  • Support ongoing SEO improvements in coordination with the wider marketing/e-commerce team

Marketing Support:

  • Support the E-commerce Manager with day-to-day SEM activities, including liaising with the performance marketing agency and helping monitor Google Ads and Meta Ads performance
  • Assist with pulling reports, tracking budgets, and flagging performance issues or optimisation opportunities
  • Manage and maintain Canto (digital asset management), organising and updating marketing content such as images, videos, and manuals for use by the company and distributors globally
  • Ensure marketing assets are up to date, well-organised, and easily accessible to internal teams and distributors worldwide

Japan Market Consulting:

  • Act as a consultant to the Japan market team on social media strategy
  • Provide guidance on marketplace advertising and strategy for Amazon, Rakuten, and Yahoo (with potential to expand to other platforms in future)

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce operations
  • Hands-on experience working with online platforms and marketplaces such as Shopify / Shopify Plus, Amazon, Rakuten and Yahoo
  • Working knowledge of SEO and SEM/performance marketing fundamentals (Google Ads, Meta Ads)
  • Familiarity with marketing applications and tools such as web analytics and Google AdWords
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
  • Working knowledge of the European market and experience in the SDA/FMCG industry is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable managing multiple ongoing tasks
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work with global / cross-market stakeholders
