We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Events Management Intern to join our team. This internship is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in events and project management within a dynamic, collaborative environment.
As an Events Management Intern, you’ll work closely with our Account Servicing and Operations teams to support the planning and execution of a wide range of events and brand activations. This is a learning role that provides real exposure to project workflows, client service, event logistics, and post-event analysis. You’ll gain valuable industry experience and be a vital support in bringing events to life.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Support:
– Assist in coordinating event timelines, tracking key milestones, and ensuring timely task completion.
– Support with research, documentation, and preparation of event proposals, presentations, and materials.
– Help liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams during planning and execution stages.
Client & Team Interaction:
– Sit in on client meetings or briefings and assist with note-taking, follow-ups, and communications.
– Help maintain strong internal communication across departments (creative, marketing, operations).
On-site Event Assistance:
– Assist with event setup, registration, and coordination on-site.
– Provide hands-on support during live events, ensuring smooth operations and quick problem-solving when needed.
Sustainability & Logistics:
– Contribute ideas for sustainable event practices and reducing waste.
– Help the team source materials, manage inventory, and prepare logistics plans.
Post-Event:
– Support post-event reporting, including compiling feedback and learnings.
– Help prepare case studies or summary documents for internal and client use.
What We’re Looking For:
– Currently pursuing or recently completed a diploma/degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
– Strong organisational and time-management skills.
– Detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn.
– Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and under tight deadlines.
– Good communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.).
– Bonus: Previous experience in events (e.g., school clubs, volunteer work, part-time) is a plus.
