Job Description
About The M Makers
The M Makers is an integrated marketing and communications agency focused on delivering meaningful, measurable outcomes for our clients. We combine strategy, media, content, creative, events, and influencer marketing to solve real business challenges through thoughtful planning and strong execution.
We value ownership, accountability, and collaboration, and we exist to make a meaningful mark on our clients’ businesses through work that drives lasting impact.
Role Purpose
The Content Producer is responsible for managing the end-to-end production of content assets, with a strong focus on video and multimedia outputs. This role ensures content is delivered on time, on brief, and to a high quality standard through effective coordination of people, resources, and workflows.
At the senior level, the role involves greater ownership over complex productions, stronger judgement in feasibility and prioritisation, and the ability to guide smoother execution across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Production Management
- Manage assigned content projects from approved brief through to final delivery and archiving.
- Plan and coordinate production timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure smooth execution.
- Work closely with internal teams including designers, copywriters, video editors, and content executives to deliver content efficiently.
- Coordinate with external vendors such as videographers, photographers, and voice-over artists when required.
Video and Multimedia Production
- Manage the production of video and multimedia content, including planning, shoot coordination, and post-production workflows.
- Support scripting and shot planning in collaboration with copywriters and creative teams.
- Oversee local content shoots in Singapore, including mobile-based shoots where applicable.
- Ensure technical quality, specifications, and delivery standards are met across all video and multimedia outputs.
Creative and Strategic Alignment
- Collaborate with the Art Director, Social Media Lead, and account teams to ensure content aligns with approved creative concepts and content plans.
- Provide practical input during ideation and planning discussions, particularly around production feasibility, timelines, and resource needs.
- Translate approved ideas into executable production plans without compromising quality or intent.
- Provide directional feedback on edit quality and feasibility without managing shot-by-shot edits.
Quality Control and Optimisation
- Review content assets to ensure they meet creative briefs, brand guidelines, and platform requirements.
- Work with social and content teams to understand performance insights and apply relevant learnings to future production.
- Ensure content is optimised for different platforms, including formats, aspect ratios, file sizes, and technical specifications.
Resource and Asset Management
- Organise and maintain content assets so they are properly stored, tagged, and accessible for reuse.
- Manage production tools, equipment, and software required for content delivery.
- Maintain awareness of production costs and efficiency best practices to support sustainable delivery.
Key Requirements
Must-Have:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in content production, preferably within an agency or marketing environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with video and multimedia production workflows.
- Solid understanding of production planning, timelines, and coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Clear and professional communication skills, especially when coordinating multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Level Expectations (Where Applicable)
Ability to manage more complex or higher-volume productions with minimal supervision.
Strong judgement in balancing creative intent, feasibility, timelines, and resources.
Confidence in guiding production workflows and supporting junior team members.
Proactive in identifying production risks and proposing practical solutions.
