Job Description
About the role:
We are seeking a Creative Social Media Intern to help manage content for our social media platforms and company website.
You will be involved in planning filming schedules and assisting with photo shoots, providing an excellent opportunity to enhance your skills in social media and digital marketing.
You must be able to commit to a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship.
What you will do:
- Film, host, and edit visually compelling high-quality photography and videography content for our social media platforms and the company website
- Plan and maintain detailed filming schedules, ensuring regular content uploads
- Assist in creating infographics to support marketing initiatives
- Ideate and develop creative social media content pieces
- Conduct research to inform and enhance content development strategies
The successful candidate should have:
- Possess or currently studying for a Diploma/Degree in Media/Communications Studies or equivalent
- Relevant videography and photography portfolio – hit us with your best shots
- Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop
- Excellent understanding of new media, digital publishing, content and social media industry
- Able to shoot and edit both videos and photos
- Able to design and/or illustrate
- Meticulous and good eye for content/trending topics
- Able to commit to a minimum of 24-weeks (6 months) internship
