Job Description

The Content Executive drives TENG’s content across social and digital channels e.g. Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube β€” with a strong focus on short-form video, from scripting and shooting through to final edit. Beyond video, the role also covers social copy, content calendars, and campaign support, working closely with the Marketing Manager to keep everything aligned with TENG’s marketing goals.

It’s a hands-on, execution-focused role within the marketing team, working alongside musicians, production, and other departments to bring TENG’s story to life across platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Drive content strategy and execution across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok) and other digital channels (YouTube, Spotify and Apple Music), ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Create and manage comprehensive content calendars for multiple digital channels, adapting content format and style to each platform’s unique requirements.
  • Write compelling copy for social media posts, email campaigns, website content, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (musicians, production, social impact, etc.) to support the company’s objectives through strategic content initiatives and marketing channels.
  • Support Marketing Manager with monitoring and analysing performance metrics across channels to provide regular insights and recommendations to improve content effectiveness.
  • Track trends in the performing arts and conduct regular competitor analysis to stay current with industry trends, feeding insights back into content strategy and creative execution.
  • Support content needs for marketing campaigns, ensuring timely delivery and brand consistency.
  • Support administrative functions across the Marketing department in areas such as budgeting, media kits, archiving etc.

Skills

  • Develop social-first video concepts and scripts (hooks, on-screen text, voiceover, talking points) for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
Shoot and direct video across studio, on-set, and live settings β€” managing framing, lighting, and audio β€” from storyboard through to final capture
  • Edit, colour-grade, and pace footage into platform-ready content using Premiere Pro, CapCut, and/or other video production software and native platform editing tools
  • Capture real-time content at concerts, rehearsals, and other events
  • Monitor social platforms for trending formats, audio, and cultural moments, and adapt them quickly into relevant content for the brand
  • Assist with planning for the social content calendar, ensuring consistency across touchpoints and alignment with the broader marketing and programming calendar.
  • Contribute to brief development, storyboarding, and creative direction for campaigns and shoots, in collaboration with the marketing and production teams.

Key Requirements

  • Singaporean/Permanent Resident
  • 2–4 years’ experience producing video content for different digital platforms (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, YouTube), either in-house, at an agency, or as an independent creator.
  • Experience shooting and directing on location (events, performances, or similar live settings), not only studio/controlled environments.
  • Experience working with the arts, culture, entertainment, or nonprofit sectors is a plus, but not required.
  • Proficient in mobile-first shooting techniques and comfortable self-shooting (framing, lighting, audio) without a full crew.
  • Skilled in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut, including colour grading and pacing for platform-native delivery.
  • Working knowledge of native platform editing/publishing tools (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
  • Comfortable scripting for social β€” hooks, on-screen text, voiceover copy
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator)
  • A portfolio or reel demonstrating end-to-end ownership of content β€” concept, shoot, and edit β€” not just editing work on footage shot by others.
