About the Role
TLK Events & Lighting is looking for a creative and trend-savvySocial Media Marketing Intern / Content Creator to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who loves storytelling through short-form videos and understands what captures attention on TikTok and Instagram Reels.
You’ll play a key role in shaping our online presence by creating fun, trendy, and engaging content that showcases the vibrant atmosphere of our events — from food highlights to crowd energy and unforgettable vibes.

Success in this role means consistently producing engaging short-form videos, staying ahead of social media trends, and helping grow our brand presence across TikTok and Instagram. You’ll be someone who can turn everyday event moments into scroll-stopping content.
How This Role Fits In
This position supports TLK Events’ marketing and brand-building efforts. You’ll work closely with the team while having the autonomy to plan, create, and execute creative ideas that bring our events to life online.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage and support daily social media activities across TikTok and Instagram
Create engaging Reels and TikTok videos aligned with our brand identity
Stay updated on social media trends and propose fresh content ideas
Write simple scripts and independently plan content
Film on-site at Pasar Malams, bazaars, and food fairs when required
Edit and deliver ready-to-post short-form videos
Engage with online audiences to build brand awareness
Provide voiceovers and appear on camera when needed
QualificationsStrong interest in social media content creation and short-form video trends
Comfortable speaking on camera and engaging audiences
Creative, proactive, and able to work independently
Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Premiere Pro, etc.)
Interest in events, festivals, or the food fair industry is a bonus
Familiarity with social media analytics is an advantage
