THE ROLE
We looking for someone with the instincts to lead, the craft, and the confidence to set the creative standard from day one.
You’ll be the senior creative voice on social across our accounts. You’ll execute at a high level, bring a strong point of view to every brief, and earn the trust of the team quickly. The expectation is that the people around you look to you ; and that you’re comfortable with that.
This is a hands-on role with real creative ownership. If you’ve been waiting for the room to lead, this is it.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and art-direct social content across multiple accounts ; static, carousel, stories, reels
- Shoot short-form video and reels ; on brief, on-location, without needing a full crew behind you
- Edit, animate, and finish content to publish-ready standard ; After Effects and Premiere Pro for professional work,
CapCut where speed and format demand it - Translate creative briefs into finished output with a strong point of view and minimal back-and-forth
- Hold the visual standard across accounts ; multiple brand identities, consistent quality
- Provide clear creative direction and feedback to other team members
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 5–7 years in a creative or content production role ; agency experience preferred
- Strong design foundation ; typography, composition, layout, visual hierarchy. You can see when something is off and you know how to fix it
- An editorial eye ; your aesthetic skews considered and intentional, not trend-reactive
- Hands-on with Adobe Creative Suite at a senior level ; Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro
- Proficient with CapCut for social-first edits and quick-turn content
- Comfortable behind a camera ; you can frame, shoot, and cut a reel yourself
- Understands social formats natively across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Leadership instincts already in play ; you’ve guided other creatives, given real feedback, and held a creative standard beyond your own output
- Owns their work end-to-end ; no hand-holding required
THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU IF
- Your primary tool is Canva
- You need a creative director to tell you what good looks like
- You’re a specialist in one format and can’t flex across the others
- You want to execute but have no interest in leading
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience across private and public sector brands
- Figma or basic UI/UX sensibility
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- The creative output at Type A is visibly stronger ; and the team feels it
- Other team members are producing better work because of your presence and direction
- You’ve established yourself as the creative authority in the room ; the team looks to you, and you’re comfortable holding that
