Job Description

The Role

We are looking for a Video Creative (Videographer / Editor) who is passionate about trending social content and storytelling through visual media. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and an understanding of the latest trends in social media platforms like TikTok and Reels. You’ll be responsible for producing engaging video content from planning for shoots through ro post-production, and you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects.

Note: This is a 6-month contract role.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement creative ideas for social media retainers and projects.
  • Come up with storyboards, references, and treatments for projects or pitches that require them.
  • Stay updated with the latest TikTok and Reel trends to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Collaborate with producers and team members to plan shoots, including conceptualising ideas and treatments and executing them.
  • Shoot and edit video content for multiple social platforms, inclusive of TikTok and Reels content
  • Ensure that all equipment for shoots are present, working, and properly maintained.
  • Direct freelance videographers, photographers, and supporting crew if the project requires a bigger team to support.
  • Edit videos in post, employing creativity to align with the project’s vision.
  • Experience with photo editing is preferred as you may need to integrate still images into video content.

Requirements

  • Have an understanding of creating integrated content across digital and social platforms
  • Spend at least an hour on TikTok a day and know what the latest trends are
  • Able to translate ideas into content solutions that fit client briefs and objectives
  • Proficiency in video editing across different platforms on software such as Adobe PrePro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar softwares.
  • Understanding of camera equipment with the ability to troubleshoot minor technical issues.
  • Able to work with a team and contribute creatively to the overall vision.
  • Resourceful and independent working style and able to cope well under pressure
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with short turnovers and handle multiple projects
  • Organised and have attention to detail
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and special effects is a plus
