Something to Hold is a womenswear brand based in Singapore. Founded in 2020, we celebrate the romance of everyday life through our vintage-inspired designs and modern storytelling. Sustainability is a key pillar of our work here at StH — we use sustainable and natural fibre fabrics, and are constantly looking for ways to challenge industry practices and improve our standards in production.

In the last 4 years, we have connected with our community locally, and have grown a following internationally, through our 4 pop-ups ‘StH in Residence’ in Singapore, and our pop-up shows in Jeju and LA.

We are looking for a Full-Time Fashion Designer to join our team.

Job Description:
• Conceptualise, develop and execute womenswear designs for the brand
• Work across woven, knit, jersey, and accessories categories
• Prepare technical drawings, tech packs, and line sheets efficiently and accurately
• Lead the sample fitting process, providing personal insights and adjustment requirements to perfect a sample for production
•  Work closely with the Founder, as well as manage communications to factories, fabric suppliers, and design partners
• Source and develop new fabrics for the collection, including creation of prints, patterns, proposing colour palettes, managing lab dips with the factory.
• Coordinate the purchasing of fabrics with the factories and fabric suppliers for sampling and production.
• Work with the merchandising team for ordering of new collections

Requirements:
• Singaporean/PR based in Singapore
• Available to work full-time from Mondays to Fridays, 9am to 6pm
• Min. 1 year experience in the industry as a designer
• Adept at Adobe Suite, including Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and Mandarin
