Earlier today, Cultjobs.com experienced a temporary service disruption following an unauthorized access attempt on our servers. The issue was detected around 9:00am, where we identified that the site had multiple infiltration attempts. Upon discovering the threat at hand, our technical team immediately initiated containment and recovery procedures.
Our team has assessed the scope of the intrusion to determine whether the attacker managed to access, infiltrate, or expose any data, or if the activity was limited to alterations of system, configuration, or code files. After thorough review, we are confident to announce that no information has been compromised nor systems adulterated.
Based on current log analysis, we have observed multiple attempts by the attacker to connect to our database. The firewalls and access control systems in place had held steadfast, repelling the attackers and preventing unauthorized access. That being said, there is no cause for concern from a user perspective; all data remains untouched and safe.
We will be actively monitoring the situation over the next 30 days and implementing additional measures to better protect our servers from future attacks. The security of our users remains at the forefront of our priorities and will not be an endeavour we falter on. We thank you for your understanding through these testing times and will provide updates if necessary.
For urgent concerns or to report suspicious activity, please contact us at support@cultjobs.com.
